I grab his hands and make his thumbs lie down on the medal stand right where the pedals would come crushing down and start to use the stepper again. Now he gets almost my full weight on a single finger with each step. After crushing his thumbs this way, I move on to the index fingers, to the middle fingers, to the ring fingers and finally to his little fingers! He screams in pain a few times, but of course I continue my workout. In the end I also make him lie his whole hands underneath the pedals – so the little stoppers come crushing down on his palms!
